Bailey

Time coaching: 3 Years
Coach Bailey has been coaching since 2023 and brings a strong athletic background as a 10-year competitive cheerleader and four-year varsity athlete, earning three state championship titles. Her coaching style emphasizes both physical and mental growth, helping athletes build confidence while learning new skills. Bailey loves being able to share the knowledge she has gained with FUTURE athletes, and enjoys watching them grow while having fun in the sport.

Brooklyn

Time coaching: 5 Years
Brooklynn has been part of the FUTURE Gymnastics Academy family since the gym opened and has been coaching for five years. With experience coaching pre-team through Level 9, Brooklynn emphasizes building confidence through firm, consistent coaching while maintaining a fun training environment. She loves working alongside the coaches who trained her and helped shape her career, making FUTURE feel like a true home both as an athlete and coach.

Ryan

Time coaching: 20+ Years
With 20+ years in fitness and sports coaching, Ryan Nusbaum brings serious experience to the FUTURE coaching staff. A USA Boxing Coach and NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, Ryan focuses on building athletes through technical precision, disciplined training, and performance-based development. For Ryan, the best part of FUTURE isn’t just the training—it’s the brotherhood. The shared grind, the accountability, and the commitment to becoming better together.

Eleanor

Time coaching: 1 Year
Eleanor brings her experience as a former competitive gymnast of eight years to the FUTURE recreation program. After moving to Ohio from South Carolina as a child, she finished her gymnastics career training at FUTURE and now enjoys helping the next generation of athletes develop their skills. Her coaching style focuses on discipline and technique, helping athletes build strong fundamentals that will support long-term development in the sport. Eleanor loves working at FUTURE because of the welcoming environment and supportive leadership, creating a positive place for both athletes and coaches to grow.

Hunter

Time coaching: 4 Years
Hunter has been coaching CrossFit since 2022 and holds a CrossFit Level 2 certification. His coaching approach focuses on building athlete confidence while helping members train safely, emphasizing scaling options, recovery, mobility, and injury prevention. Hunter enjoys the strong community and camaraderie at FUTURE, where athletes support one another and show up ready to work.

Katy

Time coaching: 20+ Years
Katy brings 20+ years of coaching experience to the FUTURE gymnastics program. As a USAG member and SafeSport trained coach, she prioritizes creating a safe and structured environment where athletes can grow. Her coaching philosophy centers on goal setting and steady improvement, helping gymnasts develop skills faster through focused training. Katy loves seeing kids work hard and get excited about learning new skills.

Rashad

Time coaching: 20+ Years
Rashad “The Redeemed” Scott brings years of competitive boxing experience and coaching knowledge to the FUTURE Performance Campus. A decorated amateur boxer and former Tri-State Golden Gloves Champion, Rashad built his reputation in the ring through discipline, resilience, and technical skill before transitioning into coaching and mentorship. As a coach, Rashad emphasizes discipline, strong fundamentals, and mental toughness, helping athletes develop both inside and outside the ring. His approach combines technical boxing instruction with the mindset required to grow as a fighter and as a person. What Rashad loves most about coaching at FUTURE is the opportunity to build fighters, mentor athletes, and be part of a community that pushes each other to become stronger every day.

Ben

Time coaching: 4 years
Ben has been coaching CrossFit for four years, bringing a disciplined mindset and deep familiarity with the sport—he actually started CrossFit when he was just 9 years old. His coaching philosophy is built around the belief that discipline beats motivation, encouraging athletes to find what they enjoy in training and use it to become the best version of themselves. Ben loves the energy and atmosphere at FUTURE, where the community pushes each other to improve every day.

Dawsen

Time coaching: 1 Year
Coach Dawsen is a newer member of the FUTURE coaching team, bringing a positive and energetic approach to the recreation gymnastics program. Her coaching emphasizes confidence, resilience, and fun, helping young athletes feel comfortable while developing their skills. Dawsen enjoys the safe, supportive environment at FUTURE, which makes coaching both rewarding and exciting.

Mike

Time coaching: 15 Years
Mike brings 19 years of coaching experience and a background as a college football athlete along with his CrossFit Level 2 certification. His coaching focuses on efficient movement and strong technique, helping athletes train smarter while improving performance across multiple fitness disciplines. Michael loves seeing familiar faces return to train together, building a strong group culture where people show up ready to work and have fun.

Makenzie

Time coaching: 6 Years
Coach Makenzie has been coaching since 2020 and spent 13 years as a competitive gymnast herself. Her coaching focuses on technique, performance, and discipline, helping athletes build strong fundamentals while progressing through the sport. Makenzie loves the athletes and community at FUTURE, and enjoys being able to work with gymnasts of all ages and levels.

Logan

Time coaching: 1 Year
Logan has been coaching gymnastics since 2017 and is an Ohio State Men’s Gymnastics alumnus and 2022 Big Ten Team Champion. His coaching emphasizes confidence, strong technical fundamentals, and creating a fun environment for athletes to grow. Logan appreciates the supportive coaching staff at FUTURE, where collaboration and open communication help both athletes and coaches improve.

Lila

Time coaching: 1 Year
Lila has been coaching gymnastics for a little over a year and brings more than a decade of personal experience in the sport. She trained in gymnastics from age 3 through 15, competing for eight years, and now continues her athletic career as a varsity cheerleader. As a coach, Lila focuses on improving technique while creating a fun and encouraging environment, helping young athletes build confidence as they develop their skills. What she loves most about FUTURE is the incredible community, and being able to share her passion for gymnastics at the same gym where she once trained as a competitive athlete.

Mac

Time coaching: 3 Years
Mac has been coaching since 2023 and brings a straightforward and energetic coaching style to the CrossFit program. As a CrossFit Level 1 trainer, he combines structured coaching with humor to keep athletes focused while relieving pressure during challenging workouts. His approach emphasizes longevity, accountability, and smart training, helping athletes stay consistent and improve over time. Mac loves the community culture at FUTURE, especially the friendships built through shared workouts—and of course the legendary Thursday 9AM post-workout donut tradition.

Emerson

Time coaching: 2 years
Coach Emerson has been coaching gymnastics for two years and competed in the sport for seven years herself. Her coaching style emphasizes hard work, proper technique, and maintaining a fun training environment, helping athletes stay motivated while improving their skills. What Emerson loves most about FUTURE is the supportive group of coaches who work together to help every gymnast achieve their goals.

Avery

Time coaching: 2 Years
Coach Avery brings elite-level experience to the FUTURE Gymnastics team program. A five-year Division I gymnast at Rutgers University, Avery was an NCAA bars qualifier and team captain, known for leadership, consistency, and high-level performance. Her coaching philosophy centers on building strong technical foundations while helping athletes develop confidence in every movement. Avery loves connecting with athletes across all levels—from preschool classes to advanced optionals—and finds great joy in watching gymnasts grow in both skill and confidence.

Mark

Time coaching: 15+ Years
Mark brings more than 15 years of coaching experience to FUTURE’s small group training program. A former Division I wrestler at the University of Michigan and CrossFit Level 2 coach, Mark has also placed 24th and 40th worldwide in the CrossFit Open Masters Division. His coaching focuses on movement mechanics, building confidence, and improving overall strength and quality of life for every athlete he trains. Mark’s favorite part of coaching at FUTURE is working with great people and helping them reach their goals through consistent effort and smart training.

Chloe

Time coaching: 6 Years
Chloe has been coaching gymnastics for six years and brings a development-focused approach to training team athletes. As a USAG competitive coach, she emphasizes positive coaching and attention to detail to help athletes grow both technically and mentally. Her coaching style centers around development, positivity, and technical precision, ensuring athletes build strong fundamentals as they progress through the sport. Chloe loves the uplifting environment at FUTURE and enjoys watching athletes build confidence as they develop their skills.

Jack

Time coaching: 5 Years
Jack began coaching CrossFit in 2019 and has been training at FUTURE since he was just 14 years old. Now a full-time coach on campus, Jack brings deep familiarity with the FUTURE training philosophy and culture. Holding certifications including CSCS, NASM CPT, and CPR/AED, Jack focuses on community, technical movement standards, and high-intensity training to help members reach their personal fitness goals. What Jack enjoys most about coaching at FUTURE is the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life, helping them live healthier and stronger lives.

Maxwell

Time coaching: 3 Years
Maxwell has been coaching for three years and brings real fight experience as a professional MMA fighter. His coaching focuses on developing each athlete’s individual fighting style, helping martial artists refine their skills and build confidence in the ring. Maxwell enjoys working at FUTURE because of the top-tier facility and extensive training space, providing an ideal environment for combat sports training.

Saya

Time coaching: 1 Year
Coach Saya brings nine years of coaching experience and a diverse athletic background in artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, and competitive cheerleading. Her coaching style focuses on confidence and performance, helping athletes develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed. Saya loves seeing the excitement athletes experience when learning a new skill, and enjoys helping them build confidence through consistent progress.
